I had a test booster course with Dawn after waiting so long to start lessons again due to covid. She was so calm and relaxing through out all and gave me some great tips and advice for navigating roundabouts and junctions with ease. The whole course was really enjoyable and ended with a pass! Amazing instructor and really recommend, thank you for everything Dawn.

Passed 1st time

I could not have asked for a better instructor experience! I have loved every lesson with Siobhan and LDC and felt my confidence grow over time. Siobhan was very supportive and immediately put me at ease. She provided detailed instructions and encouragement when I was unsure, something that I really needed at times as I was nervous. The lessons didn't even feel like lessons by the end, we would find ourselves chatting for the hour and half we were together! Siobhan also ensured that everything was Covid secure and I never felt unsafe due to this. The resources provided by LDC were also really helpful and I believe were the reason I managed to pass my theory test. I honestly could not rate my driving experience higher and would recommend Siobhan to everyone - especially as I passed first time with 15 hours :)

Passed 1st time

Patrick has been the best instructor I have worked with. He is able to effectively judge the shortcomings and root cause of the issues that the student is having and create a learning situation to match the needs of the student. He is very flexible to the learning needs of the student, whether it is a more theoretical or practical approach to learning, adjusts and challenges the student in every lesson. He was able to help me remove bad driving habits which I had developed from having worked with multiple instructors previously. He is excellent at keeping the student constantly aware during the lesson of any environmental factors which are being encountered for the first time or even multiple times.

Patrick helped me learn the local specificities in Darlington and develop the confidence to correct myself in case of a mistake in the very short time of 10 hours on the roads in Darlington. Overall, I have very much enjoyed my time learning with Patrick and I highly recommend him! The LDC Driving Skills book has been useful in revising in the build-up to the exam and the driving videos on youtube were very useful beginning, setting the expectations for the upcoming lessons.

Strong approach

When I started lessons with Nikki I had already had two previous instructors and over a year of lessons, but didn’t have the confidence to take my test. I signed up for the intensive 15 hour test booster course which I took over a two week period and passed first time. I would recommend Nikki to anyone who is a nervous driver as her supportive but strong approach worked for me.
