I would like to thoroughly recommend Martin and the LDC driving school for anyone looking to learn to drive. Martin offers advice on every aspect of the process of learning to drive, from booking your test, to suggesting the right number of lessons and hours, and supplementing practical learning with theory and DVD's for study in-between lessons. The LDC workbook outlines the targets you will cover with Martin for each fully structured lesson allowing you to keep track of your progress and to study the skills and manoeuvres you will learn in advance of the lesson, this is mixed in with a great amount of variety to the lessons, with different driving routes and manoeuvres covered in each lesson which makes it really enjoyable to learn. I found Martin to be an excellent instructor. In each lesson he was very clear in his instruction, patient and encouraging in helping me to achieve control and understanding in my driving. He always combined effective and thorough teaching with the excitement and enjoyment of learning to drive - and always with a great sense of humour! I felt he went out of his way to accommodate my schedule to fit in the lessons, and I would not hesitate to recommend him as a great driving instructor at a very competitive price!
