As an anxious and rather slow learner, I really appreciated Lynne's patient and kind but firm approach. I felt safe to express any uncertainty, ask to practice skills I felt I needed or wanted to, and ask lots of questions, but at the same time Lynne made sure to identify and correct any safety concerns and to stop forming habits before they could be ingrained. The relaxed atmosphere and clear explanations were really helpful in getting my anxiety under control. I found the provided LDC workbook very helpful in keeping track of progress made and preparing for the practical test, but I did not use the online resources much with the exception of hazard perception videos, because I found I could better fit the learning around work and other activities using the workbook for the practical test and a non-LDC mobile app as preparation for the theory test.
