I have had a thoroughly enjoyable time learning to drive with Cary. He is an absolutely wonderful teacher and I always felt that I progressed more than I thought I could in each lesson. This was partly because I learned to trust that Cary knew what was within my capabilities, but also because of his patient, kind, and supportive attitude which really made for a safe and fun learning environment. Lessons were stimulating and challenging but I never felt that I was being pushed too far beyond my comfort zone, and was surprised at how quickly I progressed. I feel I have really benefited from the learner focused LD system, particularly through writing down my lesson goals and concerns and then completing reflective logs at the end of each lesson. This helped both maximise my lesson time and also learn from my mistakes quicker. The book was also very useful for visualising some of the manoeuvres. The LDC theory app has been invaluable to helping me pass my theory test and learn how to be safe on the roads, through the repetitive questions and simulated videos. Overall, I have had a really enjoyable time with Cary and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
