Phil didn't only teach me how to pass my driving test, his client centred learning allowed me to structure my lessons around what I wanted to work on which helped me to improve the things I wasn't too confident about prior to booking my test (rather than just hoping I didn't get asked to do them!) Organising the lessons this way has given me the confidence to go out on my own as a newly qualified driver without any qualms.

From the very first lesson Phil's calm, friendly manner made me comfortable not only when driving the car but also in talking to him about things I didn't quite understand as a new driver. Often people who learnt with other driving schools talk about how they didn't enjoy their instructor's company or their teaching style meaning that they didn't look forward to their driving lessons. My experience of driving with Phil was completely opposite to this; I looked forward to my Friday afternoon lesson with Phil as not only did I get to learn to drive on my terms but I also got to have a chat, a laugh and a joke with Phil, which overall made the lessons more rewarding.
