My brother Tom first learnt to drive with Phil and he defied all my preconceptions about new drivers. I was amazed by how confident and at ease he was behind the wheel having passed first time in a fairly short period. After witnessing his success I decided to give Phil a ring. After just one lesson I felt comfortable behind the wheel. I trusted Phil in that I knew he wouldn't push me beyond my comfort zone but I came away from each lesson recognising that I had made progress. Although when you begin, driving seems like a monumental task, Phil takes each aspect in small steps providing you with the skills you need, not only to pass your test, but to be an accomplished and confident driver for the rest of my life. I also found that with many of my friends, they dreaded their driving lessons, but this never even came close to being an issue with Phil. I always looked forward to my lessons and found that the two hours flew by. I could never understand how an hour would be sufficient to get anything done! Passing my test first time around confirmed Phillips ability as a great instructor.
