The clause "Pass with Bruce" is an understatement of what Bruce does in his driving instructions/lessons to potential drivers. Bruce is long suffering with his line of work and he technically knows and understands his profession. During driving lessons, Bruce will continuously engage me to ensure that I am focused on the driving activity. He will consistently speak positive words to me which motivates me to focus on the driving lessons. He never makes you feel sad for any silly mistake you commit; instead, he will simply transform your weaknesses or errors into potential areas of strength. I passed on my second attempt but I must admit that I failed the first attempt with just one silly mistake - a right turn. Bruce had always cautioned me about that error but I was swayed off by a needless distraction that caused me to fail. Even with this, Bruce fully encouraged me and told me that I am an excellent driver . . . perhaps, it was not God's time for me to pass at the first attempt so that I can learn some extra lessons of humility and absolute concentration when driving. Currently, whenever I am behind the steering wheels, I keep hearing Bruce's voices in my head, e.g. plan ahead . . . is it safe to go . . . be mindful of pedestrians . . . your life is far more important so drive safely and you'll save other road users . . . you're a very excellent driver . . . good job . . . watch around . . . be mindful of the speed limit . . . make good use of your mirrors . . . if you are not sure, don't go . . . etc. It is a blessing to have met Bruce and I never knew I was not a good driver (although I've driven for more than 10yrs prior to coming to the UK and I passed my theory test with such excellent scores) until I began the driving lessons with Bruce. If Bruce says you're ready to go for the test, he means it. If Bruce tells you that his calendar is full and you need to wait for 7months for a slot, please wait patiently for him (I waited for 9months to start the driving lessons with Bruce). Your wait will be worth a life-long experience insofar as driving in the UK (and in the rest of the world) is concerned.
