Passing my driving test in the UK was a nightmare for me. As a mature driver who has driven for more than 20 years outside of the UK without any accidents, getting my driving licence looked at first like it would be easy for me.
After I took some training sessions with my ex-driving instructor, I felt as if I wasn't making any progress. It looked impossible for me to pass the practical driving test in the UK. I am used to driving on the other side of the road.
I thought I'd try with another instructor, and if I made no progress again, I would give up trying to get my driving licence. Fortunately, I found Philip on the internet, and when I started driving sessions with him, my confidence and hope returned to me again very quickly.
He is a really good instructor, calm, polite and mature. He has a very strong understanding of what it feels like to be driving on the other side, so I never felt I was making stupid wrong mistakes. I always felt well supported, and he carefully increased the complexity of the lesson so that I was always learning, but never felt overwhelmed.
I would highly recommend Phil because not only is his teaching style great but he is really easy to get on with and made the lessons really enjoyable. My son is 16 years old now, and he will begin very soon with him as a learner driver, and I am really happy about it. Thanks so much for all your help Phil!
