Learning to drive can be a daunting experience but Phil is very calm and relaxed which immediately puts you at ease! His standard of teaching is superb; he prepares you for driving independently on the road and not just to pass your test. His teaching approach is very focused on his pupils, he lets you decide what you would like to learn during each lesson so that you feel comfortable and very much in control of your learning. I am a visual learner so the diagrams and pictures he used to explain all the manoeuvres really helped! He will adapt the teaching to meet your learning style and needs.

Phil always has funny stories to tell which makes you relax during the lesson and makes you realise that you won't be the only one to make a few mistakes. He is very supportive and never lets you dwell on mistakes for long. He provides lots of feedback and tips to think about for the next lesson.

Having an active role in the lesson plan enabled me to work on the areas that I wasn't so confident with. When my test came around I felt ready and passed first time! I really enjoyed my driving lessons and I thoroughly recommend learning to drive with Phil!
