My first impressions of Dean after the first few lessons were that he’s friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy. He’s very attentive and kept me on the right page consistently. Everything he did was centred around me being comfortable and confident – he always made sure I was happy to take control. We could sit and chat about something then he’d guide me through it as we did it for real, which allowed me to understand what I was doing. Any time I made a mistake he was quick to correct me, but always gently, and never made me feel silly, even if I was! We had great chats and I felt at ease when driving with him, which made the whole process so much easier.

The LD system worked well with Dean’s teaching style. It’s holistic and very descriptive, allowing lessons learned in the car to be backed up by illustrations and great pointers in the book. Overall, Dean and LDC helped me learn quickly – I went from complete beginner to passing my test in 4 months!
