The LDC workbook and system are easy to use and greatly supported my learning. Being able to read through ‘how to’ guides and watch videos helped me to prepare before the lesson and consolidate afterwards. Tony encouraged me to reflect on the sessions afterwards and we would discuss my thoughts at the beginning of each lesson. I could choose what I wanted to work on and Tony would make a flexible plan, making the lessons centred around what I wanted to achieve. Tony was confident in taking me out of my comfort zone when i agreed i was ready for a challenge, not before. He never made me feel silly for making mistakes and we would discuss them after and make a plan on how to resolve them. He was patient and consistently asked how I was feeling throughout the lessons, making sure that I wasn’t becoming to overwhelmed and going at a pace that I was comfortable with. Tony used a range of techniques to teach me as and when needed including demonstration drives, drawing diagrams, and even standing to watch traffic on roundabouts! He also recommended videos for me to watch which shows his interest in what he does. Learning to drive with Tony was fun and his bright personality got us through many tough morning lessons. I can’t imagine learning to drive with anyone else, thank you for helping me pass first time!
