The experience of working with Lee on my journey to getting on the road and passing my driving test was fantastic. His passion for coaching and creating a driver; not just someone that can pass a test, was evident from the very start. I had worked with other driving instructors prior to covid and I had found the whole driving experience to be very stressful; I was very nervous to be starting again. Lee put a stop to this nervousness immediately in the first session. Before even getting in the car, I met with Lee for a free initial consultation where we discussed my level of driving experience and I was introduced to the LDC driving system. I no longer felt like I was just turning up to attempt to drive and make mistakes for 2 hours; Lee, using the LDC system, worked with me to decide on the next lesson plan at the end of each session. This really helped me feel more confident with every single lesson. Being able to go home to consolidate and reflect using the lesson diary and prepare for the following lesson using the videos, quizzes and guides on his website and in the workbook probably saved dozens of hours of paid lessons. Whilst in the car, Lee was great at walking the line between coaching and mentoring. He'd ask plenty of questions to see if I had the answer and where necessary we'd have a conversation about the topic or talk through some diagrams and then get straight back to practicing. I had booked a practical driving test far down the line and Lee not only helped me develop as a driver, he was able to give me the confidence to swap for an earlier test, months before I had planned, and passed with 2 minors! Every learner driver is different and mileage may vary, however, I really appreciated Lee's honesty and confidence in my ability. I really felt like his goals were to help me drive and not just keep me on the books. It's a shame that learning to drive is a one time experience (unless you opt for top up lessons after passing) because I would definitely do it all again with Lee. Wholly recommend Lee Fallows and the Learner Driver system. 10/10 would learn to drive again.
