After a false start with another driving school 4 years ago, I decided to try again and found Dave on the LDC website. I gave him a call and was very pleased when he told me that he could give me a free assessment drive - not seen any other instructors that will do this. Within 2 minutes of getting in the car (after years of not even attempting to drive), Dave made me feel totally at ease. Throughout my lessons with him, he has always made me feel confident and safe. Especially great was how he explains things to you when you are not getting it right - my prime example was reverse around a corner (which my brain couldn't comprehend to start with at all!). Dave was so patient, and explained to me what I needed to do in different ways until I finally got it. I'm so pleased that after only 24 hours of lessons with him, I passed my test first time with only 4 minors! Dave is an absolutely lovely bloke, and it was a pleasure to learn with him. The only downside of passing my test is that I will miss our chats. I would highly recommend him to anyone - especially if you are a bit nervous as he's so nice and calm, he puts you at ease straight away. 1 million gold stars!!!
